Winnipeg carb rebuild and sync service?

    I'm looking for a place to send my carb for service. 1981 xj650 midnight maxim

    Any suggestions? Winnipeg is ideal but I'm willing to ship it.

    I'm not sure if they do carb work, but I would call Main Motorsports and talk with John. I am dealing with them on parts for mine and they seem like straight shooters. You could always do it yourself, save money and learn. Nobody will be as thorough as you. Lol

    Myron is correct.
    Look at this and realize that you CAN do your own carbs . . .

    I was able to do mine, sure it was intimidating, but take lots of pictures and notes, ask questions here in the Technical section and you will be so happy with yourself. It will be one of those sweet victories!

    Yep. Just finished my second visit to the church of clean. Not so intimidating the second time around. No better way to learn than hands on.
