Anyone have/had a Suzuki GR650

    Both those links were down when I tried. We have one in the garage, waiting for time/momey/ispiration to get it up and running again.

    It would have been straight forward, but the last owner butchered it in some incredible ways.

    As I recall, it pulled well at all revs, with a reasonable turn of speed. The variable inertia flywheel is only an interesting talking point if you're a bit geeky about engineering, but seems to work, even if it is a partial solution to a problem no-one realised that they had.

    Handling is fine if you like to sit up straight andeither cruise or throw it about like a lunatic.

    It has the usual suzuki faults, such as a weeping gearbox oil seal.

    As the other faults on ours were probably down to the last owner I can't comment on how it is long term. We do quite like it though.
