    Hi All,

I bought an XJ650LH, Midnight Maxim, with incomplete carbs
and have not yet scrounged up enough parts to build up a
    complete set for it.

It has a 4-1 exhaust that I can't identiy but I have been told
that it "looks" like a Kerker. I have a foam UNI air filter for it.

My 750 Seca has a broken clutch, so while it is down, could I
take the 750 carbs and put them on the Midnight and have any
chance at all that they could be adjusted to run right? Would it
    be a waste of time?

Some one out there knows. :D

You can't just swap 'em on there.
    The Jetting is all different.

    Thanks Rick,
I was thinking that since it will have less back pressure
from the 4-1 and maybe more intake air with the UNI filter
that I might get away with the larger jets in the 750 carbs.
The main jet size will increase from 110 to 120, but it may
not be possible to tweak it in. I have a 650 Seca so I guess
    I could try those carbs?

I'm going to politely disagree with you on this one Rick.
Jetting is a bit rich for the Max but it will swap in. If you swap the jets (I've done this already), all the rest of the parts work just fine. I would suggest you keep sniping at flea-bay until you find the carbs you need (which shouldn't be that hard, I see them regularly). When your done, swap out your jets to make the carbs ready for your 750.

    That's what I actually meant.
    Sorry it wasn't clearer.
    I've been writing short-form; lately.

    My bad.
