Footrest rubbers

    I need a new footpeg rubber on my XJ650J. I'll stop by the stealership tomorrow and see if they have them.

    Question: Are these things fairly universal? I'd hate to get to the dealer and have them ask for the old one to match. On the other hand, I hate to cut it off and find out they don't have one.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Bikebandit still has them so they are not discontinued. The 650 has a different peg but on my 750 the foot rubber slides off from the back. Tat means I had remove the peg from the mount.

    my dealer in southern Alberta today told me they were no longer available for a 81 xj650.... hmmm... I may need to come back to this thread if we still buiy this bike...

    Parts-n-more has them for $10 /pair. Problem is I don't have the $35 minimum order.

    Also see them on eBay frequently at much higher price.
