When I found the Parts responsible for this guys bike not running; I had to Execute them so it wouldn't happen again!

I put a noose around its neck and hanged it!

The needle is stuck in the Emulsion Tube and I put the Main Jet and Washer back-on for looks.

I might save this as a Christmas Ornament!

looks like a nice long soak in acetone is in order. If it doesn't come appart after that, then a nice tall tree would be in order.

    I gotta ask.......
How long did that thing sit ?
My XS sat for almost 7 years in someone's basement...with gas in the carbs...and the needle came clear no problem...a little gunked...but.... damn... that is stuck!!

I don't know. A long time. I can't imagine that the Bike ever ran good. I had to drill out all four Pilot Mixture Anti-Tamper Plugs. The Screws were mint.

None of them were even close to 2-1/2 Out.

One was actually only 3/4 Up from Bottom. The most I found was 2 maybe 2-1/8th.
So once they get soaked and cleaned they'll be better than new.

I'm not even sure what they came off from. They're a set that came from eBay. Supposedly, the bike ran with these in the bike, once, back when.
Couldn't have run all that good, though, I don't think.

Everything but the Float Valves came undone and into Cleaner OK. The Float Bowls look awful. They are staying submerged until I feel like working on them ... maybe Monday.

If I don't get the Floats working they are going to be left here as Parts Carbs. The guy don't want to put new anything on them and told me not to even order gaskets until he see's how they clean-up.

Stuck in there Solidly. It's coming out when I get some fresh Carb Cleaner and make the time to get these Carbs Cleaned-up right.
