Need a new collector for 750 seca, seems hard to find a good one for a resonable price, does one from the 550 fit? There is a few of them on ebay that looks ok

The Maxim 750 collector is identical.

I asked this question recently, as I was in need of a collector as well.

Though my bike was originally a 750 Maxim, the collector was shot. Only the collector from the 750's will fit. Therefore, you can interchange collectors between a Maxim and Seca, but the way the exhaust exits is at different angles and so your stuck mufflers will poke out at very funny angles if you don't but the right ones.

For example, If I run a SECA collector on my MAXIM and try to use my stock MAXIM mufflers on the SECA collector, they will look very odd.

Most used ones that you'll find are not in as bad of a condition as they look. Mostly it will just be surface rust.
