Can any one help work this conundrum.
Everything works fine apart from the lights for the clocks. When I investigated I found the blue/black wire (L/B) from the RH handlebar disconnected.
On connection the turn indicator lights came on with the clock lights.

When using the signal they flashed.

How are these connected? Is it through the flasher switch (17) or do I have an earth fault?

Is there a way to wire these so the clocks work and the turn indicator panel lights stay off apart from when needed?

Speedo and tach. I have the wiring diagram. Numbers in brackets.

It's the 4 lights to light up the speedo and tach.

I'm thinking it must be a bad wiring connection around the facia where all the bulbs are. Earth maybe?

check the grounds (earth ) for the turn signals. if open you could be getting voltage pulses back through #18 and #23 into #3 and back to #36
are the lights #32 pulsing or turning on and off?
also look at the brown wire to the voltage regulator

pull your head light fuse #31 and see if directionals still work

Update 1. There were earth problems hidden under the heat shrink. One was cut and one had bare wires showing. Got the meter bulbs working on their own circuit now. Will investigate why they now pulse slightly when signals are on later .thx. At least the facia bulbs 20 and 21 are not on with the meter lights 32.
