Enjoy the time with your family and friends, bikes etc.
    No matter how you celebrate.
The freedom to do what we wish with our time.
I Appreciate all the comments and advice given over the past year, from both sides of the border.
To our American counterparts, we raise a glass of great beer and wine( no matter of the origin- shall we go down that road again) slice into a nice piece of turkey or ham, ( side of Maple flavored bacon maybe?) and wish you an early Happy Thanksgiving.
To our International counterparts, Happy Thanksgiving.
I am not sure what is celebrated as Thanksgiving in other countries.
I am sure there is some sort of Harvest Celebration.
Perhaps we could get some replies as to what is celebrated and when and where.

PS. Canadians, Don't forget to get out and Vote today at the early voting. Or get out on Oct 19th!!

Happy Thanks Giving to you too.

I voted yesterday. There was already a line up when we arrived at the advance poling station right before it openned.

Had a great ride yesterday and this morning. I also managed to winterize my XJ550.

Bonne Action de Graces, as we say here in Quebec. In addition to this fall celebration, it was also my mother's Birthday this week-end, so I spaent a few hours with her, my daughter, my brother, his wife and his daughter. My father doesn't do good thses days, he stayed at the elders home. We didn't have turkey for dinner but we had a pleasant time! I will vote on the 19th of course.

Turkey feast times two, and a new baby born on Thursday night! The Thundrrrs have MUCH to be thankful for! Wanted to name him Xavier James or some other XJ initial combo, but apparently Ms. Thundrrr is not the enthusiast that I am!

Tell her I approve of Xavier James!

Congratulations- sounds like "Project Someday" will have an extra set of hands to help out . . . . in a few more years.

    That is great news.

Matt - Congratulations on that new arrival. Trust me, leave the naming up to your wife.

I was in Salzburg, Austria a few years ago in late September and they had a celebration that was translated to me as Farmers Autumn. I had a great time; lots of folk dancing, beer gardens, and food. October Fest was just days away but it wasn't October fest. There was a Harvest Moon at that time (first full moon after equinox).
Maybe an Austrian or German expand on this.
