Has a couple of quarter size dents and the paint on there is pretty shitty at best someone used a shaker can on it

It's super clean inside no rust but you would need someone to go over it and paint it for you
In any case I will send pictures when I get into my shop here in a few minutes

I can like I say is bead blast it and put a nice coat of primer on there which would save you a bunch of sanding if you want

    Ok Chad
I got the tank bead blasted. I found a dollar sized dent that had bondo in it. The tank cleaned up real nice but is going to need the dents repaired. I will primer with an acid etching primer and box it up to get a shipping quote. Think the post off ice is going to be the cheapest. Here are some pictures

ok cool. Think the dent is going to be hard to repair for a body shop?

I don't think so, any qualified shop shpuld be able to pull that dent. I would interview them to see what method they would use. I would prefer an epoxie stud dent pull vs a weld on stud to pull it out. If they pull to hard on a welded stud it could pull out leaving a small hole they would have to weld. Epoxie studs will just pull off and not damage to metal. In any case I'm going to clean the tank off and primer it and get it in a box and bring to the post office. Why don't you PM me with your complete address so I can get it coming to you. You can PayPal me when I get back to you with the final price with the post office charges.
    Thanks
