xj650 tank badges

I've been looking for a set of tank badges for an 82 xj650 maxim build I'm
working on. One thing I noticed was the vendors on Ebay seem to be selling them one at a time
and always show the badge for the left side. The screw holes are offset with the one on the right
being a little higher. This would angle the badge slightly downhill relative to the mounting plate
but more level relative to the tank. But on a left right set wouldn't the badge for the right side
have the holes reversed with the hole on the left being higher to keep the right badge at the same
angle as the left. If I order two of the badges shown in the picture I'll get two lefts, Or are they
actually selling a set and only showing the left. The box showing the number of units offered
always indicates "1"

 

they have a spot on the ebay page where you can ask the vendor questions. you would be better served getting the answer from the horses mouth than by us guessing

 

The tank badges I got off eBay was a set of two and said it was a set of two in the description. If it says it is 1 then assume it is just the left side badge. Asking the vendor questions is never a bad idea.
