Keihin carbs for xj650 - anyone tried?

    That price is why you won't find many people who have switched from the Hitachi carbs. I can rebuild (about) 6 racks of Hitachis for what one set of the Keihin carbs cost.
    Keihin makes really good CV carbs. If you want to give them a go, I say do it.

    Keep in mind that all of the marketing blather in the link is just that; blather.

    Im struggling with my 30 odd year old, clean as a whistle, fully rekitted hitachis and am getting over them.
    Also the float post on number 3 was broken and repaired previously.

    Im tossing up buying carbs off ebay for $2-300 australian dollars, then 4x rekits for them for another $160, so thats closing towards $500 for a set of carbs that still may not even be any good.

    So its $500 and crossed fingers, or $1300 for brand spankers that are gonna get the job done pretty much out of the box.

    Hence why i ask if anyone has experience with them.

    Sudco has them for under $800 I do believe...

    Yup. But im in australia. Local price (which is sudco) is $1300.
