I have seen some Parts listed on Mikes XS.net and it appears there may be some parts listed there that could possibly be used on my XJ650G ???

Like the Front Brake Light Switch (PN 12-0044 ? Also I am wondering if there is a "new replacement Master Cylinder (Aftermarket ?) that I could use on my XJ ? I am tired of dealing with rebuilds and junk parts

My biggest needs right now are the Master Cylinder (anyone know what Bore size ? I saw one listed on Mikes XS.net (PN 08-0255, It has a 13MM Bore, Can I use this on my XJ650 ?

I sent an E-Mail to Mikes and asked if any of these XS parts could be used on XJ's and the reply was "NO"

I am getting conflicting information ! Some others say yes.

Also I am still looking for a Caliper Rebuild Kit for my XJ650G, I have talked to 2 suppliers and they are on Back Order !Anyone know where I can get one ?

    Thanks

I'm going to be using an XS1100 master cylinder on my xj650K, everything lines up, its a 16mm cylinder but at the moment I think all that means is it's stronger and rated for dual disks instead of a 13mm which may only be powerful enough for a single disk setup.

As for a caliper rebuild kit and brake light switch, check out partsnmore, they should have both. If you need a piston you will probably need to use the XJCD to cross reference, I found that the XS850 (I think, its written down somewhere) fits my Maxim caliper.

    Yeah mikes XS is great.
I recently purchased the dogbone clamp from there, and all I had to do to get it to fit was grind down the ends about 1 mm to get them to clamp properly.

...Oh, and also the clutch lever bracket. I had to grind that down too, but that's what you should expect for aftermarket parts (Notice that I mounted the clamp upside-down to get rid of the mirror post on the clutch side).
