Hey all...it's been a while since I've been on the site, looking to sell off some of the stuff I've acquired for my '82 XJ750 Maxim.
What I have for sale is: 1. a Vetter Windjammer SS fairing complete with a Vetter mount which I believe will also work on a 650 (not sure about the 550's), also has the pigtale for electrics, also keys for locking compartment...it's all there. Just mount and go! 2. I have a set of Vetter hard bags with mounts....not sure what this mount came off of, but I needed to modify it to fit my Maxim...was no big deal and worked very well for me. 3. Lastly I have a Sissy Bar/Back Rest, This was also modified to fit my bike and worked very well....very sturdy!
Not sure what to ask, as I bought this setup piecemeal and most likely paid too much....I'll start at $250 for the set....but I'm willing to negotiate with members of this site (you guys have been very helpful over the years and I'm willing to give back)
Only issue is shipping....I won't. This is all big and bulky stuff and will be difficult to find boxes for...and shipping will be LTL which will cost an arm and a leg, so if you live near Milwaukee or Chicago I'd be willing to make arrangements....
Finally, I have some other tools I need to get rid of....I have a Yamaha Factory Service Manual for this bike....I also have a ColorTune (never used!) and a YICS block off tool...I'm open to offers, but please be respectful...I know what they're worth. Best case would be a package deal.
    Thanks for all the help!

Ryan, are you looking for a whole setup, or do you just need parts? I have SOME parts.......

Some NOS Vetter saddle bag doors, for example-------

I also have a complete bags/trunk/mounts setup, if you aren't looking. For Vetter specifically--I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but I'll later today.

Let me know what you need and I'll see what I got.

    Ryan,
I've got a Vetter fairing mount for the 750 Maxim with Christmas tree if you find a fairing with no bracket.

Thanks for the reply, now that i think of it i'm not sure if i can pull off buying the bags....got a few other parts on high priority right now. Is the Colortune gone? Also, where did you get the fairings for your bike? I really want to road trip but I want some wind protection.

Craig Vetter went out of business along time ago......now, he's back, but only has parts and service available. The fairings are available thru watching Ebay, as well as asking around. Thing is, they're big and heavy to ship so you're gonna have extra cost there, unless you are able to find someone local. There are some differences between different versions of the Vetter fairings, too. Go to

    www.craigvetter.com

    For more info.

Fairing mounts are around, too but again, you have to watch and ask--
