    I knew a guy like that. Every bike he got, he'd strip it down after about a year or so.
    Not one of them ever got put back together and mostly they got sold off as a kit of parts - not broken for spares, but just punted out as non-runners. What you quoted was exactly what he said on nearly every occasion.

    We bought a Bulltaco (not sure on spelling) a long time ago that was what we call a basket case. Put it all back together and it actually ran? Go figure.
    The bike was a one cylinder I am going to say like 300cc or something like that. My friend had it and I never saw another one.
