When riding in rain my helmet visor constantly fogs up from my breath and the rain on the visor reduces visibility. I'm thinking on trying the snowmobile breath reflector and Rainx. Do you guys have any other suggestions on how I can fix this problem?

There's tons of products on the market for both - it's a try-and-see kinda thing.

If you go for Rain-X (which I love, BTW) - make sure it's the one for polycarbonate/plastic - NOT GLASS. The one for glass will damage the PC of the shield.

I personally use Lemon Pledge (yes, the furniture polish) on the outside of my helmet & visor. Cleans, polishes, and leaves a tiny tiny tiny bit of clear residue on the visor that makes water just vanish. Been working great for years.

For the inside to prevent fogging, Can Tire used to sell a little spray can thingie of anti-fog spray that worked great - but I haven't seen it in a few years - should go looking again. In the meantime I use Ivory soap. Yes the white bars. Take a DRY bar of soap, rub it all over the inside of the DRY visor until its covered, then polish/rub it off using a DRY soft cloth. Works great, ultra cheap, and even smells good.
Only downside is it wears of in a few days of riding....

Soap works great, but it does wear off.
Use a non scented, colored brand like Ivory, or other natural types.
I've neve applied it dry, I'll have to try that.

Dang clever of you gents! Who would have thought of soap? I'm amazed! Thanks for the tip! I've purchased one or two products but can never seem to find them when the need arose, so no experiences from me, sorry.

The sissy players on my hockey team that wear visors use shampoo on their visors or buy a spray from stores that sell hockey gear. I usually just crack the visor open a bit to reduce fogging and turn my head to blast the rain drops off.

Have any of you guys ever tried "cat crap"? I used it on my sunglasses while skiing, and seem to remember that it was great stuff. It had the consistency of vaseline.

"CAT CRAP"...... Don't have a cat, will dog crap work.... I have the same problem with my new brain bucket, I have thought of using the Fogx from the makers of rainx, but wasn't sure if it would work or not.
