NTCC 07 - Date set for 15 Sept 2007

Hi all,

When: Saturday 15 September 2007 - 8am (or whenever folks arrive) - 'til when we get done in the evening/afternoon.
Where: Richardson, Texas - North of Dallas, Texas
Who? Well, this list is an XJ-Owners list.. but if you don't ride an XJ to the clinic - we sure won't hold it against you.

What? North Texas Carb Clinic. We'll work on your bike's idle mixture with a colortune plug... we can synch carbs.. (Morgan CarbTune II, and several others locally have a set of Motion Pro Carb sticks).. I've got a YICS tool to blank off that YICS passage when tuning... I'm sure that between the participants, we'll have plenty of food for a Burger or BBQ lunch and/or dinner, and I've received a generous donation of swag & door prizes from the SeaFoam corporation. (if you have any of these tools, please feel free to bring them along as well - it's always good to have a 2nd/3rd set of synch gauges & colortune plugs and work on more than 1 bike at a time)

Do you know if anyone will have the colortune adapters to work with bikes other than XJ's? I sold my XJ (but still snoop around here every once in a while) and bought a 99 Nighthawk 750 and except for the final bit o' tweaking, it's runs pretty good. The unfortunate thing is that my colortune plug is the 14mm but the NH uses 12mm plugs.

 

I can't remember who brings it (maybe Gary Schulte) - but we generally do have (1) 12mm colortune adapter at the clinic.
