Custom paint!

    Well I'm not sure on where this thread should go, so I'm gonna place it here for now! Has anyone done any custom paint jobs on their bikes? I'd like to get a few ideas

    get a section of sheet steel at the hard ware store paint and pratice all you need

    I'll second the "Don't need and airbrush" ....did this with a Harbor Freight HVLP gun

    Black base coat, cover with mesh material, then sprayed brown, then silver at angle from opposite directions..

    I did this with rattle can using 12 stencils I cut out.

    The final detail was completed using a hand brush.

    This one was done with airbrushing (my first attempt) the base coat is black then a clear with read metal flake sprayed a white for the spartan helmet and used an airbrush for the details then candy apple red and a two part clear (all rattle can except the detail part.

    Found that my hands shake to much to use the airbrush for details...
