I’m in the process of selling off my XJ750 (the Venture is taking up all my resources)…So I have some things to get rid of…would certainly like all of it to go to one person (hence the pricing), the more you take, the lower the price…obviously everything ships at buyers expense.

    1. Gunson Colourtune 14mm – Brand new and never used $50

    2. YICS Block-Off Tool – I bought this tool here for $30 a couple years ago and the rubber seals were cracked so I used some vacuum hose as a temporary fix (just so I could keep the size correct), as of right now the seals are only vacuum hose I would strongly suggest changing them to something more heat resistant before you use it! - $30

    3. Yamaha Factory Service Manual – Not a Clymer or Hayes manual. Used, but in good condition - $20

    4. Home built Carb Stand – I built this while I was cleaning my carbs a couple years ago, it made the wet-sync very easy…cost me nearly $20 in fittings…I won’t charge for labor ; ^ ) - $15

    5. Vetter SS Faring and Saddle Bags W/Sissy Bar fit for a 1982 XJ750 Maxim - $250

    6. 1982 Yamaha XJ750 Maxim approximately 25k mi. Runs like a Top! If you’re interested I can get you a complete list of everything that’s been replaced. Suffice it to say, BigFitz would feel comfortable riding this thing back to Michigan. $1500

    PM me with an offer.

Is the manual specific to maxim, or is it good for Seca as well? Do you have a picture of it? For shipping purposes, where is MKE located? Is 14mm the size needed for using the gunson, or would I need an adapter?
I'm just full of questions! Thanx for taking the time to answer.
Oh, yeah, one more, do you accept PayPal, and if so, do you remember my password?lol

MKE = Milwaukee and yes I prefer PayPal (I wish I knew your password).
I have to find the manual, I'll snap some pix and post them....
If memory serves me, the manual cover 650's and 750's Seca's and Maxim's. Basically, most information is generalized for all models and when there is information specific to a particular model, it's noted.
Finally, the 14mm is the correct size for an XJ750, not positive if it'll work with a 650....but my guess is it would.

Found the manual...like I said, it's used but in good shape....have noticed some of the binding glue has dried and a couple of pages are loose, but they're all there.

Dude that 750 sounds like a steal at $1500! Would you sell the Windjammer separately? I'm getting cold on these 40 degree Texas mornings :)
Edit I just saw your price on the fairing and saddlebags...sorry

    Pm me for details...
Shipping cost will make the fairing difficult. My oldest is a shipping broker so I'm sure I can get a good price...but it won't be cheap.

I think he meant he's turning 30 in 37 minutes. Hopefully I can still read posts properly when I'm 50!

Naahh.... We like to keep all threads open unless its really necessary to close. That way in 10 years, someone can dredge it up for important trivial info ----such as MKE= Milwaukee.

Did you check your valve clearances? How old are the brake lines?

Everything has been sold, but yes, valve clearances in spec and shim values recorded. Stainless hoses added three years ago.

Stupid Canadian dollar. Every American dollar is aboot 1.40 for us canucks right now. 50 dollar carb tune equals 70 bucks plus s&h and customs. Still a deal, but I waited too long!
