Carb Shaft seals-part # ?

ordered carb shaft seals from Mcmasters but they are thinner than the stock ones. seem to be the right diamenter inside & outside but not as thick. part no: 011F75Q is on package. are these the correct seals? Also how much wear is acceptable between the shaft and carb body? I have one carb that has a little "slop" in it on one side.

 

Just replaced my seals that I got from another member. I found them narrower, and the o.d. was a tiny bit smaller also. I spent a lot of time putting them in with silicone to seal them to the carb body and have not worried about the thickness.

Sounded like many other members have replaced their seals and I'm relying on their success.

I haven't tested my repair yet due to waiting on orings for the fuel supply lines. Got those today, I just haven't made it into the garage yet.

Sorry, I don't know any specs for the shaft wear you have.

 

Thanks Nick, Mine seem to fit tight just narrow, but the silicone is a good idea, going to do mine also. Got a set of carbs off ebay last night, maybe I won't have to use the carb with the worn shaft-carb body.
