I currently am riding with my $86 HJC CS-12. This thing is great for the price but noisy to me.

I am looking to step up in comfort and want a flip up that is quiet. The HJC in Med fits me pretty well if that helps anyones suggestions!

    Thanks

The best (I've heard) is the Shoei Syncrotec - quiet, comfortable (if you've got a Shoei head) and fit & finish is top notch. The newest models have a couple of design improvements that make them nicer than earlier reviewed models too. I saw a thread over at Pashnit a while back about modulars, and the Shoei was hands-down the favorite, followed closely by the Nolan N-102.

    Thanks

The shoei sounds great but too darned expensive for me, I should have mentioned that! I have found the Nolan for as cheap as $215 and might try it. Hope if fits well. I dont have a round head so I dont know!

I do wear plugs but I am in the market for a new helmet anyway so I figured I might as well ask! I am looking at the Caberg Justissimo. Anyone had any experience?

can you try it on ?
if i try one on and it feels good, next i see how much visors are and how hard they are to put on and take off, kind of like the old double d rings too
that one looks like some thought went into the design. bet it's a real nice helmet

I've only read about the Justissimo -- apparently the latest version is pretty good. No direct experience however...

I'll just stick with pluggs and/or earbuds to my MP3 Player!

    Hi
I use the Caberg 104 fullface(no flip up) and it is very noisy. It's just about the samme quality level as the justissimo, so i think it will be even more noisy with the flip up front.
The double visor feature is grrreat though(almost topgun).
Low noise flip-ups are SHOI or BMW(Schubert).
Btw: Remember flip up is not for driving only for standing still. A Swedish Motorcycle cop, broke his neck in a parking accident, because off a flipped up helmet.

I am currently riding with an AGV MIGLIA MODULAR in flat black. IMHO, it is quiter than the Bell full face I started with last year. I picked it up for $160.00 shipped.

I have thought about trying the n102

    Do you own it?
Is the sun visor decent? Does it make a noise being that it is outside of the helmet?

I got a full-face modular from Moto-DirectUSA from Ebay stores. About $70 including shipping. Works good, DOT approved.
