I've got a set here that came off my xj750 that came with the bike. They're leather so I didn't want them, but it'd be rad to see someone get some use out of them.

Whats up with that string? So how much we talking? Plus shipping!

How do they mount to the bike?

 

There are D-rings on the bag and the flap -- that string ties the bags shut if you've got a lot of stuff in them.

Like I said... I honestly don't know the worth of them -- 35 + 5 for shipping sound fair?

Lift the seat, set them over, and put the seat back down... that's how they were on the bike when I got them, and it's how my non-leather bags go on. Pretty simple, and they don't really seem to move at all, although I can't speak from experience with these specific bags because I removed them within about two minutes of buying the bike...

No sweat... wasn't sure if that was what you were looking for or not. Anybody else interested in them? I really just want to get rid of them... they've been sitting here for almost a year.

 

will these work with my 550 maxim ? if so I am interested.

 

I don't know about a 550 Max, but I don't see why they wouldn't. They fit a 550 Seca just fine, but I think the rear-end is a little higher. I suppose it depends on how high you have your shocks set and what exhaust you have, etc. I'm really not good with knowing what will fit which bike, but if you want me to measure the bags so you can measure your bike and see if they'll fit I can totally do that...
