    Which model of Seca?

    The gaskets aren't felt.

Use penetrating oil, time, and gentle taps/ twists.

Xj750r they looked to be some sort of fabric not 100 percent sure but I've tried pulling and twisting. Ill use some oil tomorrow and see if they don't slide off. Just thought I was missing something

What happens is that the inside of the pipes will rust, and rust takes up 30% more room than steel. At that point what was a slip-fit becomes a press-fit. The rust has to be broken up a bit at a time to get the pipes apart.

Use a block of softwood between the hammer and the exhaust.

If you cut it off, I have a muffler and a 4 to 1 setup if you'd like.

I wouldn't cut anything. Period. I would be careful and take the time to work it. I had one that took me many months, and a lot of sweat before it finally came free. But it came apart, and still took a fair bit of back/forth jarring with a rubber mallet to finally break the rust enough for the kroil to soak in enough

Good news is i got them off bad news is I had to cut them off. The p.o. welded everything .......the mufflers were also a mess so its not a big loss. The baffles inside are toast and they sounded like maracas with all the rust rattling around. New pipes look good though.
