I have an xj750j. Does anybody have highway pegs on there? Can I just order them from my local yamaha?, or do I need to research what will fit? Is the best way to fasten them to have them welded, or is there a better way? Any thoughts?
    thanks

I fabricated a set of highway pegs for my bike using 1/2" iron pipe fittings and nipples. I'll take some pics and post if anyone is interested.

I bought some from dennis kirk, just a universal fit highway bar kit and they work pretty well. I had to grind down the mounting bracket a bit so
that it wouldent contact the exhaust pipes, but other then that they fit right out of the box

My only complaint about them is that they are nice chrome but they dont give you stainless hardware with them. You can use the supplied and have it rust up in no time or pick up your own stainless hardware.
