Who is up for a St. Louis Labor Day River Ride? I can make it on either Sunday or Monday of the Labor Day weekend but not Saturday. Let's make it happen.

Check out this link for the road trip possibilities.

Let me know who's in and which day.

    Hi Keith
Josh and I are good to go for Sunday weather permitting. Did you PM the others and let them know?

Yes I PM'd everyone who posted under the "Anyone Near ST. LOUIS??" topic.

Ridz PM'd me back. He wants to know a good place to meet as he will be coming from Topeka, KS. As well as how long the ride will be.

I believe that we can make the ride as long or as short was we want. I believe that there are plenty of choices for the actual route we take thereby determining how long our day will be.

I haven't yet hit the River Road ride and therefore I can't unequivocally state what I said above to be true. However, Gary you have haven't you? So I'll let you address those questions if you will.

    Hi Everyone
Sorry for the late responds. I was out of town. I guess the best place to meet would be Hwy 270 and New Hallsferry Rd. At the bottom of the exit ramp and to the right there is a Steak n Shake, Cracker Barrel and IHOP you guys choose and let me know. From this location the ride should be between 100 and 150 miles and 2 ferry rides across the rivers. You will need $8.00 cash for the ferry ride. By the way there are a couple good watering holes along the way.

I may be able to go....I should know something by the middle of next week if not sooner. I would be down for a Sunday ride, depending on the times?

I can do a Sunday ride maybe but not Monday because I can't turn down a 16 hour double time shift at work.

OK, so are we on for a Sunday Ride? (That's this Sunday already!)

The earliest that I would like to meet is 10 AM. However, 11:30 would be preferred. (That way I could actually go to church.)

Gary, since you are familiar with it, I'm going to let you determine the route we take. And you mentioned "watering holes". Somewhere on the route I would like to stop and eat as well as get "watered". So bring your recommendations and some extra money (money for the ferries, watering, and eating).

Let's meet at Steak n Shake. (Cracker Barrel and IHOP are typically busy on Sunday mornings.)

We just need to determine 10 or 11:30 AM? Let's hear the feedback.
