After reading all of the post I finally rebuilt the carbs on my XJ700X. They looked very clean! I got them on and synched the carbs and she is running great. I only have one small problem, the enrichment circuit does not seems to be working. When you start bike with the choke turned on, it does not idle up like it use to. The bike starts fine, but with cooler weather approching, I probably will need to give it a little choke to get her warmed up. Does anyone have any suggestions. The circuit pins do pull out when you pull on the cable.

Thanks for all your input on this forum. Without it I would not have gotten this bike running the way it is.

Maybe open up the idle knob a bit more?

    Won't hurt to try?

Mine was the opposite, when cold it idles fine but when it gets hotter, it would idle (actually race) too high. I just turn the knob (use a long flat blade screwdriver instead of your fingers) down. It's ok so far.
