used larger of the two bits that come included in dynojet stage 1.3 for 650 seca kit..tied using jb weld though no go ,,came back out as a plug upon drilling proper sized bit..
so question ,,can i change the height on the adjustable needle? should i put in a smaller jet?
is only one carb that i beefed up...
or in anyway will this matter? have read various posts on this and most seem tio leave with that it does not ..
though if is floating more than others isnt that bad...oh and last as i think about it can a heavier spring combat that floating slide?
any help would be so much awesome. that well idont know but .
    thanks

I have a 1982 xj650 max developed a hesitation at 5200 rpm @ full throttle, kinda gutless too. Than since new plugs I have cleaned up the carbs, and blew them out. A bit of junk in capillary tubes pinholes, screens, etc. still hesitation @ 5200 rpm Full thr. & balanced. What else can cause hesitation everything else looks good internally on carbs...

Start a thread. My first guess is that you removed the airbox.
