First thing I would do is add fresh fuel, change plugs, change the oil and filter, make sure the battery is good and the starter spins strong and then take it from there.

I had no spark on mine, turned out that I had some bad spark plug caps, this could be your problem as well, and/or the leads if you are sure the coil is good.

Someone that knows more than me will come and suggest some other things to do as well.

With 4 cylinders, it is unlikely that all 4 wires would go bad at once.

If you have a bad battery on this bike, the system voltage falls too low for the ignitor module to work properly, while starting and the bike won't start.

Make sure you have a good battery; it is likely to have deteriorated over a few years and would exhibit this problem.

As a check give the bike a jump with a car battery and good cables, or just replace the battery.

Make sure you change the gasoline by disconnecting the fuel line and draining it into a suitable container with the petcock set to prime.

This gasoline can be mixed with whatever you have in the car tank and it will burn OK. Put in fresh gasoline, and put the petcock on prime to ensure the carburetors fill.

Next try to start with full choke. If it starts, hurray. If not, then pull the plugs--are they wet? If they are dry, you may have clogged pilot jets and will need to remove carbs and clean them.

If they are wet and it won't start, then check to see if you are getting spark by laying a plug on the head.

If no spark, please let me know for next series of steps.

True, but I had 2 caps bad, and got spark from none of the plugs until they were fixed, beats me why, you'd think the other two would still spark...

PLEASE NOTE: that jumping a motorcycle battery with the car running could ruin your bike battery. jump it without starting the car.

Yes, as long as you set it up with the proper amperage, I think my is 12amps. But, chances are that if its dead, you will have to get a new one, its not like a car battery, once these get weak to a certain point, they can never be brought back.
