good thing I was only going about 30mph, but it did enough damage just the same.
    bent the break handle.
scuffed up the break fluid res.
    scuffed up the rear blinker.
scuffed up the right side muffler.
bent my right side hyway peg.
    and totaly smashed my windshield.
scratched up my brand new helmet.

besides that my arm hurts a little.

it was a small cloverleaf getting on to the interstate. I was paying more attention to the cars I was going to have to merge into, and the front wheel came out from under me. if I would have only been in one of the wheel tracks... I would have not had a problem.

well, it's driveable the way it is, the only thing I really need to do is straighten the front break leaver (or replace it would be better).

I put just the tinyiest little scuff, on the side of my brand new modular helmet, just enough to see it.....

    I feel your pain brother.
I was in a sliding competition myself.
Go to the doctor immediatly if you think its broke. I waited a few days before giving in.
I was doing 50mph when I went down in some gravel patch in the road.

Heal up before you begin the repairs

How did the handlebars make out???

The silencer has been the hardest piece to track down.

Glad you didn't get too hurt, donhoe.

My first spill was on a honda elsinore. Driving down a gravel road, going through the gears, fast I as I can, around a corner, testing my worn out tires...

20 years later, still have the scars on my elbows and knees.

My wife insists I take a safety course before I get my m.c. license, and she's glad I'm thinking about buying a project bike that will postpone the real fun.

    Anyway, glad you're ok.

It won''t "Postpone" the fun ... if you have fun doing the Project!

Half the fun of riding around on one of these 25+ Years Old Bikes ... is:

    Bringing 'em back in time!

    Sorry about the dump.

It wouldn't hurt (no pun intended) to get your arm checked out. You don't have to be going very fast to do damage. I low-sided on some sand while fooling around on a dirt bike years ago, and I was going so slowly that I landed on my feet after a quick slide-and-roll on the ground. Afterward, my wrist "hurt a little", but I didn't think much of it. Two days later, my hand had blown up like a balloon, and it turned out that I had torn a ligament in my wrist and fractured a bone in my hand.

You're paying for your insurance, so you might as well use it.

I hope you and your Seca 750 make a full recovery.

I don't see any engine guards on there, I know when I fell, that they saved my handle bars cause the bike was resting on the guard and foot peg, luckily for me, nothing was damaged.

    Hey donhoe,
The damage to the machine doesnt look too bad, or expensive.
    Well besides the windsheild.
    But the real question is.....
    Hows the arm?

    PM Sent donhoe.

good call wearing gear, or you would have some nasty rash.

I took my spill on May 15th this year on a bit of gravel. I was doing about 20mpg (hard corner) so it wasn't bad. Make sure you blast the carbs off with some cleaner as the grit that got on mine would cause the enrichment ckts. and the throttle springs to bind a bit.
