    Hi Chaps,

just found your site via a denish XJ Site. Great Site! Because you're talking about XJ bikes here I thought why not register even if I'm riding a XJ900F which I guess is not a Maxim. But the engine is quite the same. XJ is XJ!

Last year I refurnished my XJ an I'm proud to say it has been well done. If you like take a look. Now I got another XJ900 frame which will be setup until 2008. We will see how it goes. The first thing I did was put some black coating on it. But first I need to solve my small problems with the carb.

I'm sure I will get help in all XJ questions here and maybe can help too.

    Best regards from sunny Frankfurt
    Ramon

Welcome to the site. I am sure someone will be able to help you solve you carb problems. Just post up what it is doing. Its been a long time since I have been in the frankfurt area. I was stationed in giessen. I am not even sure the bases are still there. Again welcome. Nice looking bike. 900's are hard to come by here in the states.

Tag Ramon! Welcome to our little part of the world. No worries, all who ride and wrench are welcome here. I do wish there were more of the 900s here in the States, kind of feel like we got left out of a beautiful thing.

I think that is a beautiful bike! I wish I had one that looked that nice. Anyway, welcome to the site and good luck with the bike. I am sure someone can get you all set up with the proper fix for those carbs.

Hi Chaps, some more progress has been made on my restoration project. Put some new disc brake on my queen. I' a bit disappointed cause it was looking better on their homepage. Anyway. Another work is done.

    Very nice bike!

My bike actually lived the first ten years or so of its life riding around Germany before coming back here to the US.
