Wanted Gas Cap lock cylinder - E

    Hoping to get the bike back to a single key. I have everything except the matching gas cap lock. Anyone have an E lock cylinder for the cap they would like to part with?

    what key do you have?

    is your ignition switch a 3 wire type?

    I believe I have a decent gas cap but if you have one together with the cylinder that would be great. The key is E43432. It is a three wire. Thanks.

    bad news good news I have a Cset of locks but the E key fits the C set. I only have 1 key.

    how about I send you the ignition lock and the cylinder from gas cap (mine is rusted chrome) with the 1 key, the lock has a readable key code.
    you send me your ignition lock and gas cap cylinder and the 2 keys even swap ?
    less work for the both of us and you have the printed key code and just have to pop in the gas cylinder.
    this set came from an XJ 650 the ignition switch has 3 wires.

    we could just swap gas cylinders but i need the key I have for the ignition switch.

    I appreciate the offer and you are correct it would likely be easier but I am going to keep looking for an E cylinder. The set I have has the helmet lock, ignition and power lock all on one key. Just need the gas cap. Thanks anyway.
