How wide a tire can a seca fit?

Have a 1982 seca 750. Not sure the stock size but id like to go a little wider on the rear tire. Im sure i cant go a ton wider but it looks like theres space on both sides of the sidewall where i can get away with a wider size. Anyone know the max tire size that will work?
And i need new tires regardless, so any suggestions?

And will it fit the factory rim

 

There is very little extra room on the driveshaft side. Some 130 tires will fit without rubbing.
120/90-18 is the stock size. That's the size I run, and the bike is capable of scraping the pegs.

 

I just put a pair of Avon Roadriders on my X. I'm very impressed and have no problem recommending them.

Looks like the 130/80-18 is a very close match to the 120/90-18. You should be able to sneak it past the rear diff when installing, but I would grind down the weld (where the tire would rub) just to get a bit more clearance.

Anyone know which 130s won't fit so I don't buy one that won't work. I assume theyd all be the same

 

I was gonna go with Michelin if they have it, or I'll checkeep those avons
