New guy to forum

    Hi everyone I just purchased my first xj900 83 model which I intend to either turn into cafe racer or scrambler.
    I have a bit of problem with it starting for when I hook power start to start as no battery the starter sounds like it is winding over but nothing from starter switch.
    If anyone has an idea of what it might be would be great I have also just replaced starter solenoid as I would like to get it going.
    I have just dumpy fitting zx6 usd forks today and will be ordering bearing kit soon to fit correctly so if anyone has anything to make life easier would be great.

    I have been searching the Internet for ideas and found there are a couple of bike that have usd forks and factory wheels and I was wondering if anyone on here has done it and how to fit to forks.
