Hey everyone, Sorry its been so long since ive been on, Been recovering from 2 major surgeries that left me wheelchair bound for 3 months but im back on my feet and ready to get my bike going for the season. That being said I rememeber someone on here that made wiring harnesses for 81 xj650 that was just a super clean easy to install kit, anyone remember who does this? Thnks in advance

do youhave the original harness you can mount it to a plywood and strip down what you want to get rid of.

this is a nice wiring diagram

I do have the original harness, I get so lost looking at diagrams but mounting it to a board it smart! Thanks for that. You wouldnt happen to know if all circuits "head light, turn signals yaddah yaddah" have to be wired in or can I test part by part before I solder it all up?

test by fuse systems as you go Main fuse and all it connects to headlight fuse ect.
lights bulbs do not have to be installed as long as you test for voltage at the connectors, or ohm it out with continuity test
