I put the Mac 4 into 1 on my 82 maxim 750. It was very easy to install, and looks and sounds good to. Mine did NOT come with new gaskets so you will need to get those too

Oh sweet! Can you describe the sound to me? Was it deep and throaty, or light and muffled? Give me a 1-10 rating, 10 being loudest on what your opinion is from just idling and taking off?

It's pretty throaty. It's loud but not so loud you can't stand it. I don't like it real loud anyway but I'm very happy with this. I guess I would give it a 6 or 7

There are aftermarket exhaust systems for (almost) all the XJ series, including the 750 Seca.
MAC is one of the mst common/popular, but I have heard good things about Marving exhaust systems as well.

image.jpeg I've installed a Mac 4-1 exhaust on my 82 seca 750, with megaphone tip, no baffle. I've been told that it sounds like a kz900. I love the sound.

Thank you...its work in progress, few other things I want to do to it, that will make it even more balanced. But it can wait until winter.
