so i wanna start out by saying this is my first bike (paid 220$ for er runnin, albeit not well) and my father has had a few older bikes when he was growing up and has been helpful, but his experience is limited. so i come to you guys :) i need to replace my needle valves and am finding it dificult procuring some ( need 2 ). does anyone know of either a site that sell em ( ebay is too vague to just buy a part like this for me but ive use it several times :D) or know of a potential either bike model or manufacturer model that will suffice? thanks in advance :)

All the rubber parts are the same age. If one has failed, they all will fail shortly. Replacing all four now requires the same amount of effort as only changing two.

Do yourself a real favor go to xj4evers catalog you will find everything you need and it will be exactly the correct part. Yes it maybe a little more than what you find on ebay....but sometimes what is out there may or may not be the right part. I know im speaking from experience...

As you'll soon learn, half the parts from those kits will fit, half won't. Next time go through Len for eeeeeeverything. So much simpler, excellent service, and guarantee it will be correct parts. As above, strip it and go through them thoroughly and completely, replace anything made of rubber. Clean the crap out of them.

while i can agree ( and i was skeptical ) i got the kit from a japanese surplus supplier, and thankfully, everything fits :) * side note, i was astonished that my kit made it from mainland jp to here on the east coast in 4 buisness days* but i agree with what your saying, some kits have like 1-2 parts you can use for the projects and some wont work atall. i gambled and got lucky :)

After getting substandard Amazon and Ebay parts, I will only go to Chacal from now on. Service and correct fit.
Ordered parts Sunday pm, waiting for me Wednesday after work, even with standard shipping. Way to go Len!

They are great for parts lookup, but keep nothing in stock. Chacal keeps everything in stock.

I hesitated to jump in. However, here is my experience with ordering from Len (Chacal). I ordered an item from Amazon, tried to get it to fit right, gave up after a few days and ordered the part from Len. Perfect fit. I just ordered and received steel braided brake lines from him. They are high quality and will do the job nicely. I may have been able to save a couple bucks, but I definitely saved some frustration by getting them Xjforever. Plus, he is very generous with his knowledge and the level of customer service is exceptional.
