Good evening. I have a Xj750 Seca and making a cafe racer. I'm almost done but I have 2 or 3 problems:

    - when in neutral the light is off. It turns on when I put a gear (any gear)

    - I put a speedometer/tachometer wit led lights, the problem its with the High Beam, the led its always on. On normal ist a weak light (it should be off), on high beam its a high light, really bright led..

Hope that someone can help me with this issues!!

By the way, does anyone have a wiring diagram converter to eliminate the Atari and bypass the electric stuff.
I found some ones online (here also) but, since I live in Switzerland, I must have everything working perfect, so, I can't eliminate whatever I want...

    Thanks for your time

    Carlos D.

There is a relay under the fuel tank that clicks when you turn on the ignition. What color of paint is on it (should be a small dot near the connector)?

There is the flasher relay, the self-canceling unit, and the safety circuit relay under the fuel tank. The safety relay is the rearmost. Given how the neutral switch and light work, one thought I have is that someone swapped in a different type of relay I the safety position, and that is making the light work backwards. This is only a consideration because of how easy a fix that would be compared the the other choices.
