    I saw this beautiful XJ900 in Spencer NC on May 7th at the classic bike show. I looked and waited but never saw the owner. IMO it was one of the best bikes at the show.

    I figured it had to belong to one of our members. It was in such good condition whoever owns it has to be proud. All the polished aluminum was just as shiny as the chrome exhaust . Even it did not have any scratches. The whole bike looked new.

    I guess that would be my Xj900. Sorry I missed you. I was hanging out around the VJMC booth. Thank you guys for the kind words. FYI the bike is currently listed on Ebay.

    Too bad I missed you. I remember meeting you a few years ago at the aviation museum . You were riding a nice XJ650 turbo. I was on my XS1100SG. Forgot you had garage full of classic Yamahas.

    I usually get a decent return... er, I mean my wife usually gets my decent return. I could probably buy and restore an xj for what I pass on to her every tax season. And what do I get in exchange? love. Apparently it's priceless. But I'd love another xj! It just couldn't love me back. Ps she's out spending my money right now. I keep getting texts of what she buys. Lucky me.
