So I have a 1985 maximX and My saddlebags pretty much rest on the top edge of my exhaust. I just got the bike and noticed that there is a small melted hole in the bottom of one of the bags...

Is there and heat resistant material to line inside of the bags with so the stuff inside doesn't get super hot?

Or is there a kevlar like material to line the bottom of the bags with to keep them from burning?

Anyone find a solution for this? I searched the forums but didn't find a fix.

    You could try header wrap.
