New shoes for the Seca!

    Replaced the Dunlop 404's with Michelin Pilot Activs. Hopefully in the next few days I'll get a chance to give them a good evaluation.

    So far I would give these a thumbs up. Smooth and predictable in turns and nice grip. Also the head shake I would get around 45 mph is almost gone. just a touch of it left. The bike has had that since the second year I had it and the steering head bearings have been changed twice (tapered rollers in there now). It was only present if you took your hands off the bar.

    I do not see any wheel weights , did you have the tires balanced??

    maybe you should revisit the adjustment on the head bearings.
    did you ever replace the wheel bearings?
