We're going to need a whole lot more information to solve this one. Is the bike in neutral? Is the clutch engaged? Are the idiot lights coming on? Is it making a clicking sound? Does the rear tail light come on? Help us out with some details.

I'm assuming you are saying the ignition key doesn't turn any of the systems on. If so check out your main fuse.

    "You Gotta Be Kidding Me"

You need to fill-in all the blanks.

Is this something new or did it just happen tonight?

    OK ... Let's start over.

    Your bike.
You turn the Key ON ... and Nothing happens??? Is that it?

    No Start Button
    No Lights
    No Nothing???

    Does that cover it?

First thing to do is to take the Battery out and put-in a New one.
Or, take the Battery you have and get it checked-out for holding a load.

Is there a battery in there and is it charged up?? Sorry not trying to be a smart donkey here but beanflicker, we really need more info here. What does it do when you turn the key on. Do you get a headlight on or even a tail light on. Is the battery freshly charged up?? How long has it been since it has last been run. Do you know that it was running before, IE did you ever see it run before. You only need three things for the bike to run, Gas, Spark and Compression. Check for gas getting to the spark plugs first then check your spark. Compression is usually the last thing since these motors can take killing and keep on licking:)
If you get a clicking noise when you hit the starter button then it's either two things, weak battery or the starter solenoid is dead. Lets start out there and progress from there.
WE do like to have fun at others expense but we also like to get bikes running again. After all that's what keeps this message board alive.

Yeah I was making a joke.I have noticed that some of the regular guys seem to be getting a little harse on the newbies. They seem to be gettin a bit upset by newer members posting about the same issues over and over again, and say just use the search button.

pghxj pretty much gave the answer i was looking for thou.

Which was what ... that answer you were looking for ... that despite how vague the situation was ... there were still several Members still watching the Post and willing to help as soon as something they could sink their teeth into made sense ... and we figured-out what was happening.

Sure ... some of us got a laugh out of it. But, the people who need to read all these Posts and try to diagnose a fault were still looking for some coherent sentence that might tip them off to why somebody's bike wouldn't go.

    You "Cried wolf!"
    No wolf.
The wolf is busy making somebody else's bike not start.

There were a dedicated few willing to give it a shot. I don't blame anyone for sticking their tongue into their cheek and having fun with it.
