Just this last week my bike started smoking but only when it gets warmed up. I was driving it in traffic for a few hours, so it was probably a little hot that day. I have read from previous posts that it might be running rich (just had carbs redone), might be valve stuck @ 27k, possibly but only when warmed up, and it might be oil ring stuck, gonna try some sea foam. I will start it up and see if the smoke smells more like gas, i think it is more grey than blue however. It might be that the bike shop didnt get the mixture right, but i have been driving it for nearly 2 weeks, 3-400 miles before this last problem. Do some more research and try leaning the mixture and/or seafoam maybe day after tomorrow.

Is it smoking out of one pipe only?

If it is black smoke it'll be rich

Pull plugs 1 at a time and note which ate black or oily, dry/black, wet/black,

    OK there's a start

Note; if you run seafoam and the carbs are the problem the shop may try to say the seafoam is the trouble!?

Have you checked for gas in your oil?

When it starts smoking try opening the airbox and see if you can see smoke coming out the crankcase vent tube. Mine did this when hot and there turned out to be gas getting into the crankcase and mixing with the oil. Once the engine got warm enough the gas started evaporating out of the crankcase and you could see white smoke going through the airbox and into the intakes. Presto, running rich/lousy.
