    Hello,

I just finished replacing my stock front brake reservoir with a 1999 R6 brake reservoir and everything button up with the stock expect the electrical contacts. I search the forum to see if anyone has done the same swap or similar and I've found nothing. So if someone has done something similar please provide me with your wisdom.

If you need pictures I can provide if need.

    Thank you

You will need to make an adaptor. Bullet connectors, blade connectors, a crimping tool, and some wire.

20160607_040604.jpg 20160607_040647-1.jpg I solved the issue with the front brake blade connectors thanks to K-Moe helpd. Following the connector fix I filled the brake reservior with brake fluid.

Then another issue arrised, there's no tension or brake pressure on the brake lever like the old brake lever. There's a clicking noise from the contacts where the connectors now connect you can see that in the image.

I would normally bleed the brake to increase tension but in this upgrade brake handle I have no clue on what direction to go in. What do I do to get the front brake working again?

    Thank you all in advance!

Bleed it the way ou bleed any other brake master. Fill the reservoir, pull the brake lever, crack the banjo fitting, tighten the banjo before the lever stops to keep from sucking air back in. After that bleed the rest of the system so you are sure that you have fresh brake fluid all the way to the caliper.

First pic. There should be a lock nut on the exposed end of the lever pivot bolt.

Did you dissasemble and clean that master cyinder before you installed it, paying close attention to the return port?

Yes I cleaned the reservior and placed fresh brake fluid. There is a nut at the end of the brake lever its covered up by the rubber boot.

I'm going to bleed the brake as followed.

    Thanks

Bleed the brake and there's tension now.
