    Hi guys,

I am new to this forum, so hello everyone. I recently bought a 1981 XJ650 Seca which I plan to rebuild into a cafe racer. Are there any "plug and play" cafe racer seats out there, or would I be looking ad modifying the frame?

    Thank you

What type of seat do you want?
The 650 Seca has a pretty good stock seat. Although I keep a hand towel under mine for rear passenger seat support.

    Hi Alan,

I want a Cafe Racer style seat, something that is flat and a bit shorter

You can build one out of plywood , get it to how you want it , cover with foam padding and vinyl or leather . Or build a mould out of plywood and make a fiberglass seat pan .
