    So anyone know if this will also work on a '80 650 Maxim?

    I would think it probably does but would like to know for sure before buying it. Thanks, Garrett.

    NOPE! 650 Maxim's and 650 Midnight Maxim's used a caliper all their own!

    But, you're in luck!---I have a very nice used 650 Maxim caliper, already rebuilt with new seals, honed the bore, etc. Complete with shims, pad retaining pin. an almost-new set of pads (400 miles on them), the mounting bolt/hardware, bleeder screw and cap, etc.---I ended up swapping my single disc brake system to a dual disc system and this is one of the leftover parts (that's why it's already rebuilt). BTW, make SURE you keep that pivot bolt & sleeve WELL LUBED or you'll have all sorts of problems with the brake working properly and/or squeeling!

    If you want it to be picture-perfect, you'll have to re-paint it.

    If you just want to rebuild your original caliper, here you go:
