Oooh weee, that sure is a pretty XJ900. (Liking that Kaw also)
If it was mine I wouldn't modify it, just keep it stock and finely tuned. Your bike, your rules - this is the best place to ask for any help with what you want to do with it.

That is a beautiful bike. I have a stock 82 XJ750 and would love to have it in that condition! I wouldn't mod if it where mine, but, it's not! Cheers!!

    Welcome aboard Francesco.
    Nice looking 900F you have. I have a 900R.

The problem with putting spokes on will be the rear disc brake.
I have not found a spoked rear wheel to work with the disc brake yet.
If you see a shaft driven bike with spokes, and rear disc brake. I would be glad to look into what it would take to fit it to the 900.

That bike is a beauty. If it were mine, I would leave it stock. A local dealer here gave me that advice with my XJ550. He said a well running stock bike is usually worth more/desireable than a modified bike since most have been modded over the years.

    It is your bike though!

Considering that these bikes are now getting into the collector stage. That is some good advice.
Bolt on mods that can easily be return to original are generally acceptable. Period correct accessories tend to add some value.
