    Hello all,

About three weeks ago, I hit some gravel and went down on my beloved 1982 XS400RJ Seca. Although most of the bike survived intact, the front end was ruined, and I've decided not to rebuild, and to part out the remnants to offset the cost of a new bike and to help out some fellow Seca riders.

So, I have the following for sale (best offer):

All parts are in excellent condition with pictures upon request unless otherwise noted.

Front tire: 90/90-18 Michelin Macadam (bias-ply), <3000 miles on 'em, LOTS of tread left!

Rear tire: 110/90-18 Michelin Macadam (bias-ply), <3000 miles on 'em, LOTS of tread left!

    Carburetors, standard jetting

Engine, 11300 miles at time of crash, valves had just been adjusted, ran GREAT (service records available upon request)! Engine was fogged before removal, so it'll start right back up. The transmission shift-shaft was bent in the wreck, though, so I can't speak for that. Can't shift out of the gear it's in as is. However, engine turns right over with the clutch in.

OEM Seat (one SMALL tear, much smaller than a dime, regularly conditioned)

    Front rim with brake rotor

Rear with cush drive/sprocket and rear brake drum

Full exhaust (some rash on the left-hand pipe, not bad, though, still mostly shiny)

    Yamaha Valve Hold-down tool, this one: http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/too ... or_yamaha/

    Engine Mounts (pretty chrome!)

    Speedometer drive

    Stock tool kit

    Rear Brake Pedal

Front and Rear Axles with spacers/chain tensioners/etc.

    Throttle Tube

    Wiring Harness

    Voltage Regulator

    Yamaha Factory Service Manual

    Owner's Manual

    Side plastics

Tail Plastic (has a crack, but can be easily repaired with some JB-Plastic Weld. I have close-ups of the crack)

    Left Handlebar Controls (horn/choke/turn signals/headlights)

    Right Handlebar Controls (start/engine cut-off)

Ignition/gascap/helmet lock set with two sets of keys

Front brake caliper assembly (nearly new brake pads)

    Front brake master cylinder/assembly

    Vacuum petcock

    XS400-series valve cover gasket

    Headlight bracket

If there's anything that interests you, feel free to PM me, or email me at rot5@pitt.edu, and I'll happily send pics or provide more information. I'll be happy to ship most of the items (I'm gonna call exceptions on the heavy guys, like the engine).

    Thanks for looking!

I might be interested in the pipes. A little rash on the left is OK unless its too bad. Pictures? Price?

Is the seat the same as the 750? Do you still have it?
