so as i said on my gas tank thread, one of my pistons is sticky or seems like the diaphram/membrane isnt sealed, i posted a vid to my youtube channel so i can link it so yall can hear what it sounds like and see how it reacts. im tempted to tear it apart and atleast clean it and the jets out like a few other ppl suggested (few irl and a few vids ive watched) but im paranoid of breaking something without knowing if its worth the effort or its necessary to do so.

You have carbs off half the battle...take them to church...pull the 4 screws off the hat there is a long spring so be careful. After removal pull diapram hold it up a a light source check for holes...if it is ok clean slide i use 12000 grit micro mesh on mine ( that is no miss print 12000) If you have a hole in diapram you can fix if small with a condom and rtv , cut a piece slightly larger than hole put a light coat of rtv and put patch over this. Cheers

For pinholes and tears: Liquid electrical tape. Easy peasy.

If the diaphragms are in a really bad state I definitely reccomend jbm industries for some sexy new diaphragms.
Damn good quality and work a charm.

Well worth the money so far as I've been running them on my BS35 mikunis for a couple of years now on the 900.
I will definitely buy again if need be.
