Need advice!

    I bought an 82 maxim 750 j and the wiring was a mess it's now a bobber build and I'm almost finished I need some advice on how to wire up the brake blinker and running lights the original cluster is not on the bike I'm going with a 2 1/2 inch aftermarket speedometer I do have the Haynes manual but some guidance would be greatly appreciated in how I should go about with wiring these into the bike....

    Here is a minimal wiring diagram that has been floating around the site. I can't offer you much more than that, there are plenty of electrical wizards around here that can chime in with more practical advice.

    Thanks I did come across this diagram I'm just wondering how I can tie the wires in with what's already there all I'm really doing is bypassing the cluster
