    Hey all,
I've been trying to diagnose a problem for the past few days to no luck. Bike starts up just fine, but there's a faint popping coming from the exhaust when it rides. I've noticed a decrease in power since the noise started happening. I went for a short ride a little while ago and when I got back it died on me in the driveway.
If any more info is needed just let me know.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I bought the bike in March. Since then I have replaced the battery, fuses, spark plugs, changed the oil, and rebuilt the petcock. I've been needing to take my carbs off and clean them, but up until a month ago I did not have a garage. Now, I just haven't had much time. I put seafoam in the gas when I first bought the bike.

Check and adjust valves, take your carbs to church ... do not only do part way.. break the rack replace butter fly seals abd gaskets . Part of the popping is possible carbs are not synched correctly ... check with a 4 vacuum gauge is my set up preffence , but a home made mamoneter can also get good results. You could try this before doing carbs which would entail adjusting synch screws . Good luck.
