I need to get my aluminum engine parts polished and I've decided I'm not going to invest/learn in a new skill. Before I search locally, anyone here polish for $$ to fund their hobby?

I have the 2 crank end covers, clutch cover (2 piece), shiftier cover, and alternator cover. The clear coat will already be stripped and none have any gauges, rash, etc. All off an 82 YICS 650.

I'm not in a rush, PM if interested.

Did you find anyone on the forum to do this for you? I'd like to support the group on xjbikes and I have a similar set that I'd like polished.

I did not find anyone so I bought a buffer and comping from harbor freight and got the job done. Your pics look fantastic though!

Hey toolman thanks for the offer. After reading a bunch about the process I think I might try to tackle the clean up this winter. If I am seriously struggling I'll remember your offer. Thanks.
